Our trip to the Children’s Hospital in Rockville, MD yesterday ended up well. Josey was a real trooper! She did great all the way through being put asleep. Her waking up was a little different. she got kind of emotional after waking up, but that was expected. She had all her cavities filled and is back to normal!

Today is a nerve wrecking day for me. My dad will be Hershey Medical Center for what is supposed to be an out patient procedure. He's got a mass in his liver or pancreas, or in between there somewhere . . . I get confused. But he's having a procedure to see what it is exactly, and also to take a biopsy.
He's been in the hospital quite a lot over the years, so I'm of used to it but at the same time I'll never get used to it.

A while ago I asked you what Christmas traditions you have. One of mine is to go after Christmas shopping for all of my clothes for the year. That's about the only time I have extra cash on hand, and you can find great deals!
There are a few standard things I shop for. A new pair of jeans. A new pair of dress slacks. New socks. New undewear. Especially the socks and underwear. Those things only last a good year anyway, so this is the perfect time to shop.

No one in his right mind would actually believe that his fiance did not have sex with another man if she were pregnant. At least no one who had not also heard from an angel. Scripture is clear that Joseph was a righteous man of God. It is no wonder that God chose him to be the earthly father of Jesus. Ironically, the fact that Mary was pregnant while promised to Joseph called into question his righteousness. He risked being mocked and misunderstood while honoring God. Joseph is an example of acceptance and love for those the world leaves behind.

This is from a great book I have called "God's Blogs." As you read, remember, this is God blogging.
