Wow, I haven't thought about my friend cutting for a long time. I'm surprised how emotional I got about it. She is now happily married to a great guy, two beautiful kids and another on the way. Repaired relationships with both of her parents, particularly her dad. The verses fit the situation so well though....Ecclesiastes 4:10 If one falls down,
his friend can help him up.
But pity the man who falls
and has no one to help him up! .... I was there for her and she was there for me many times too.
11 Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm.
But how can one keep warm alone? ..... I spent many nights with her, some were fun and some were very difficult, but morning always came and "joy comes with the morning", eventually.
Here is a song that got us through many tough times...we've put it on repeat and cried together for hours and we've even kariokeed to it. : )

No one is alone in their troubles, nor should they be alone. Each one of you is INFINATELY precious to God.
And, yes, T, when they give you their blades, taking them can work...though it may take time and they have to relinquish them themselves.
